Bippity Boppity Boo

While gallivanting about the mall the other day Zanna found a magic wand she wanted. We already spent too much money getting some snow things for this crazy winter we are in for so I told her we could go home and make one!
We went outside and picked out a stick. Zanna painted the stick all sorts of colors. We then cut a star out of felt and stuffed it full of stuffins. She chose some glitter, or as she likes to call it "sparkaries"- we glittered it out, added some gold ribbon and voila.... she had a magic wand!

Zanna getting her craft on.

Do you think she likes it?

She was pointing her wand at everything saying " Hibbity boo" meaning "bippity boppity boo"

I think she was trying to turn Troop into a frog.

"Sparkaries" I thought this wand had a little more whimsey than your standard plastic wand.

I mean... she was really loving this new wand. She kept telling me I need to make Troop one, which I think I might, he keeps taking off with hers and that is just a fight. Hmmm I will need to think of how to make it a little more masculine. Maybe a tomahawk. A glittery tomahawk ;)

Troopy balancing on his daddys hands. He is so funny! He LOVES his daddy. Lately he totally chooses Jathan over me :( Little stinker!

I came into the living room last night and found Jathan like this.... Death by stikers! Zanna decked him out. His face was her canvas. He kind of looks like he could go to a Disney masquerade.

Then I walked around the corner to this darling sight. Troop sitting with his cute little legs spread out flipping through a favorite book. It melted me. He is getting too big.

And in other news... I have a fun little project going on. Here is a sneak peak of some of the goods I have been crafting. Probably the most darling felt flowers you have ever seen, right?

I also have some darlings for adults. Hopefully with in the next week I will have the full reveal, with much better photos!

There is a new stylist in town

Jathan went in to the bathroom to get a new buzz... Little did he know Zanna had recruited herself to be his stylist!

She was so into giving him this new do. It was a crack up. Cute little honey!

When I asked her what she was doing she said, "Noghing. I am cutting daddys hair. I love daddy."

She sat there for about a half an hour buzzing his hair. I was surprised she kept with it for so long. I think Jathan was getting a little stir crazy, but he was so sweet to let her keep on keeping on.

Troop wanted in on the action too! Mostly he wanted to get the hair out of the sink!

Frolicking On Ice

Jathan and I have been talking about putting Zanna in Ice Skating lessons. We decided to take her to the rink to make sure she liked it first.
It was a hit. She LOVES IT!!
Putting on her ice skates. She was pretty excited!

Not the greatest picture. But so cute in her tiny skates.

Initially they are supposed to learn to march on the ice. She was sliding all over that ice. It was just so cute. I had a super sore back the next day from holding her up... I am out of shape! I am glad when she takes lessons it will not be me holding her up the whole time ;)
She was so sad when it was time to leave! Now we just have to wait a few more weeks to enroll her in her lessons. My baby girl is growing up!

Joy School

I woke up the other morning (well not the other morning... like a month ago) to this.
A beautiful wintry wonderland... What? mid October and already it is full blown winter? Oh boy we are really in for it this year. Alaska is bringing it!

Although I was not thrilled with how early it came, it sure is beautiful!!

Later that morning I had seven cute little three year olds come over to my house for Joy School (that is eight three year olds including my little Zanna) Let me tell you. Three hours with 8 Three year olds is pure craziness!! But it was really fun and they are all so dang cute and funny.

There are two girls. Zanna and Abbi. And six boys. Six cute little wrestlers! Mason,Peyton, Ryder, Caden, Liam and Corbin.

Snack time. Probably the best time of the whole day! And probably the most calm the little ones were as well!

Oh boy... Craft time was a little crazy! The lesson called for painting... but I opted out of that. I decided we would make things with play dough. Still crazy but the play dough was easier than paint to get out of the carpet!

At one point all the boys were totally dog piled on top of each other... and the girls just kinda did their own thing. There are six boys in this doggy pile. You can only see 5 because the 6th is buried!

Quietly playing with puzzles. This was a rare event!

Passing "Joy Boy" around. I let everybody give him a little kiss!

Wow. After I was finished with three hours of these balls of energy I had felt like I ran a marathon up a mountain! It was crazy! But fun!!

HALLOWEEEEEN!!!

Happy Happy Halloween!
Here are a few photo's of our Halloween festivities!
We went to the church trunk or treat! A little late... better late than never right? Zanna was a kitty and totally played the part. She loved wearing her costume and crawling around on all fours meowing. She also loved wearing some makeup... she takes after her mama. In fact as I type this she is sitting on the chair with me putting lip gloss on my lips... saying "no eating it, okay mama." - I was tempted... ;)

Me and my little monsters. Troop was a green little alligator! He looks so cute in his costume. Especially from behind. He looked like a teeny tiny little green monster. He gave lots of people a little laugh!

Jathan was a scary headless horseman. That is his pumpkin he carved from my previous post. And that is a creepy knife with fake blood all over it. He told Zanna it was his Juice knife. So all night long she was asking him "Where is your juice knife, Daddy?"

These pictures are out of order... but here is a funny photo of Zanna playing with some fake teeth. She looks like a hill billy! Funny, funny girl!

I feel really bed I didn't get better photos of Troop... Oh well. Here are my little monsters again!

Self photo... I always wanted to die my hair platinum, cut it short and get a perm... that would be a fun new look... But until I get the guts to do such, this wig will do!!

Chablis and I threw a Witches Night Out the other night and it was super fun. Chablis hosted it at her super cute casa. There was yummy food everywhere and was just a fun night of giggling.
