Jathan had half of Friday and Monday off for Memorial Day Weekend. Our new friends Adam and Joey (yay for friends) called us on Saturday and invited us to go to Muir Woods and to Stinson Beach. We had a great time! Muir Woods is absolutely beautiful, filled with redwoods and other amazing trees and plants. Everything was so green. There was moss and ferns growing everywhere. It looked like something straight out of a fairy tale. I half expected a cute little fairy to fly past us. Have any of you seen the Gnome-mobile? It reminded me of that as well.
Adam and Joey are from Utah as well. Adam was in the Construction Management program and got a job with Hensel Phelps (the company Jathan is working). They are also in our ward. The super crazy thing is that Adam served a mission in Charlotte North Carolina, the same place Jathan served. He got there shortly after Jathan left but they know a ton of the same people. Samll world!
This is the only picture of Stinson Beach I took. It would have been fun to go on a sunny day, but WOW, it looked so beautiful with the overcast sky. We did not stay too long at the beach because Zanna was asleep. It will be fun to go back and watch Zanna play in the sand.

What a beautiful place. This is so fun that you guys are there. I bet everyday is an adventure. I thrive on change and desire to hopefully move somewhere where I don't know a sole. I think it makes life interesting and makes you stronger. Although I am sure you are very missed in the UC (Utah County-not sure if everyone knows what I mean when I call it the "UC!! Just had to clarify!!)
Have I told you lately how jealous I am of all of your adventures!! I AM!!

That place looks awesome! Isn't it a small world?? I love making new friends. We are going to the cabin in a couple of week-we are going to miss you all! Are you going to get up there at all this year??
I think i am in love with you, i mean Stinson Beach! Donde esta? where is this beautiful place. I have realized that getting married is so amazing, yet it sucks so bad. This is because I don't get to hang out with my friends as much as I used to. I love you merm and I hope we have more adventures to come!
