APRIL.... sorry internet was down.... and we were moving!

A few pictures from the month of April. It's a little random!

We got family photos done with the Garrett family. Everyone was decked out with Turquoise and feathers and what not.

I Love this picture. Jathan looks so Handsome holding his little girl.

Meagan was selling jewelry at a BYU pow wow. That was a fun night! Saw some cool Indian dances, tried on Jewelry and then went to Denny's for some Breakfast at midnight.... with our 6 month old child. We are really good parents!

Intense Bed Head!

All us girlies made a quilt for Nicoles baby shower. It turned out so cute! Can't wait to see that sweet baby swaddled up in it!
Shauna Brown ( I can't remember her married last name) had a cousin party at her house. It was so much fun to see family I had not seen in a while. Zanna is sitting with a few of her 3rd and 4th cousins in this picture (Jathan said 3rd and 4th cousins don't count, I beg to difer. He obviously does not know how this family rolls). Katies little girl and Lindsey's little girl.

CUTE!

Harses, Harses, Harses, Harses

We Had a super fun day at the barn last week. The weather was so BEAUTIFUL! Jathan was trainig Ice (one of our horses) and Zanna once again was loving watching the animals. Jathan took her on her first ride around the round corral. He gave her the reins... and of course they went where everything she gets a hold of goes... straight into her mouth! Yah pretty dirty! We set her up on the fence and let her pet the horse... she was LOVING it! Here are a few shots of the day.

When Jathan first put her in the round corral she was so excited to get out and buck. (top right pic) She is through with the majority of her training now and we think she will be an awesome horse!

It's Official.... California here we come!

That's right! We are moving to California the first of May. Jathan will be interning for a company called Helsel Phelps. They are a very large commercial builder... I believe sixteenth in the nation. He is stoked and so am I! We are moving to the Bay area, it is about 30 min from San Francisco. We will be there for about three and a half months and if things work out we will move out again after Jathan is finished with school. Crazy! I hope I will be able to go to the cabin still!!! Since I am not prego this summer (as opposed to last) I have lots of wake boarding and horse back riding to catch up on!

Easter

What a fun Easter we had. On saturday my we went to my mom and dad's for an Easter egg hunt. There was quite the turn out! After the Easter egg hunt Gretchen and Jon surprised all the kids with a cute little minature horse that pulled a little carriage behind him. His name was Milkshake and he was adorable! I am super lame and forgot my camera... I think there are a few pics of him on Joshua and Melissas blog. The kids absolutely LOVED him! Jon took the kids around the yard in the carriage and they were all in heaven. On sunday we went to Jathans parents house and colored eggs, ate a yummy dinner, played with cute little Easter chickies and had an Easter egg hunt. It was so fun! Zanna was DYING over the chickies!

Zanna and Grandpa Garrett

Loving the chickies! And look how cute... they were died red and blue!

I made Me and Zanna our Easter dresses. Her dress was super fun... mine was very time consuming but fun none the less.

Watch out chickies here she comes!!!
Tessie might kill me for posting this picture.... she was pulling a cheeser but she and Meagan look so cute! I had to post!

I just want to squeeze her!

I can't get enough of this girl! She is just so darn cute. She is at such a fun stage right now. She is constantly giggling and smiling and always wants in on what Jathan and I are doing. The poor thing has been sick the past week but she is still such a good baby. I wouldn't even know she was sick if it was not for her runny nose. Here are a few random pics!

I love these pictures. Jathan is playing peek a-boo with the Camera. Now you see him........ Now you don't! And look at her cute little toes! Cutest feet ever!

Biker in training! I love the little sweat suit she has on in this picture. Old Navy had an awesome sale on them when I was in St. George. I wish I would have bought like three more in different prints!

Meet Zannas best friend

Zanna LOVES our dog Mason. Everytime he scratches his ear, sticks his tounge out or simply walks past her she about dies giggling. He is also a pretty good babysitter. I will lay her down on her blankie next to him and she will stay entertained for hours... okay... maybe not hours but many minutes!
This picure explains it all. If he is in the room her eyes are on him.

Mason looks thrilled to death in this picture... don't mind the mess in the background :)

Hammer VS. Thumb.... Hammer WINS

Hammer 1 Jathan 0

(Pictures not for the weak in stomach)

While Zanna and I were in St. George Jathan was busy getting beat up by his hammer at work. He got a compound fracture so the Doctor removed his thumb nail and reorganized his bones and then put his nail bed back in place. Then he stitched his thumbnail back on as to protect his bones. Poor kid always gets hurt on the job. First his Shoulder, then his toe and now his thumb.

St. George Continued...

Zanna swimming with her grandma Garrett. Milli took Zanna swimming alomost every day. She loved being in the water. She did not like the sun shining in her face so much though

Once again I just love this little "HoHum." Zanna sat and played in it while I layed out. It was great! We did not have a swimsuit for Zanna so we ran to Old Navy and picked up a few things for her. It was so fun to see her in her new suit. It was a little big on her... it should fit her for the whole summer.

Zanna had so much fun swimming with her Daddy. It was fun to watch them. He was so cute with her.

St. George trip

Jathan's dad had a work convention in St. George and they were going down from Saturday until Wednesday. Jathan and I drove down Saturday. Unfrotunately Jathan had school and work so he had to drive back Sunday. It was such a quick trip for him. I was able to stay until Wednesday and rode back with his family. We had such a great time. The weather was beautiful. We went swimming, shopping at the outlet stores and played some ping pong.

Breakfast at Bear Paw (or Claw?) If you have never eaten there you must! It is DELICIOUS! Big ol' belgian waffle... mmm don't mind if I do!
As I mentioned earlier I bought a new road bike. We bought Jathan one last year and now we can bike together. FUN! Jathan hitched our bikes to the 4Runner and hauled them down with us. We felt pretty cool in all our gear... we are total posers. Oh and my legs.... really white. As you can see in the pic I am wearing an awesome squort (sp?) that has padding in the booty. So Great! The wind was blowing so hard the day we went biking together. We went a few miles and I was spent. If the wind was not blowing and we were not going up hill I could have done a little better. I really need to get my booty in shape!

Yes posing agian. Look at the rear on my man. OUCH! So hot in his spandex!! And our cute 4Runner with our fun bikes.

The Amazing Chariot

This is my new favorite toy. This thing is awesome! It is the Chariot cougar. We sold two of our horses and bought this Chariot and a road bicycle for me! Let me just tell you a little bit about my new toy. I can hook it onto my bike so my little love can go biking with me, it is a jogger, it has cross country ski attachments, it has hiking attachments and you can also buy break attachments... if you want to go rollerblading or something like that. It also has a sun guard, a bug guard (screen) and a weather guard. I absolutely love it! Last week when the weather was feeling so nice I went walking/ jogging with Zanna almost every day. I felt so liberated! I could go outside and she stayed so warm. She also loved it. She just looked about at everything around her. She mostly stared at our dog Mason... she loves the dog. Then after about 15 minutes she was out! If any of you are in the market for one of these puppies The Bike Peddler in AF sells them.

Sunday at GGGG's!

GGGG= Great Grandma and Grandpa Garrett.

Cute little Sunday outfit. Grandpa Garrett gave her the cute little cowboy boots and Carolynn bought the tights for Bergen but bought them too small. Lucky for me, I reaped the benefits! My mom made her the brown and pink blanket and Melissa gave her the shirt and skirt. I love that I did not buy one part of this outfit. Family is SO GREAT!

Zanna with her cousin Jaden (Aaron's little boy). There is a definite Garrett stamp here.

The Projects

Here are a few pictures of fun projects I have been doing. All of the sewing projects were inspired by my sister Carolynn. She has such fun ideas and lucky for me she does not mind when I copy her (I think anyway :) Between Carolynn and my mom helping me out I am able to get them done. Hopefully one of these days I will be able to do a sewing project on my own!
This is the blanket I made for Zannas crib. I still need to make the skirt and bumper pads.
A closer look!
This is the blanket I made Jathan for christmas. He is rather fond of skulls and crossbones so I thought it might be fun to make him a skull and crossbone blanket. I know it is a little evil looking but I have gotten over that! Oh and Jathan LOVED it and gets really posessive of it when I try to cuddle up in it! So funny!

Some fun frames... Paper projects. I am proud to say I did these all by myself! :)
Carolynn has the cutest apron pattern she let me borrow. Cade got a picture of both of us in our aprons but all my pics were really fuzzy. You need to check out Carolynns blog and see the one she made! SO CUTE!~
