Henry Mountains

Last weekend we went camping with Brad and Rebecca Roberts and their little girls. It was so fun to get out of town and play. Well the boys did most of the playing... we did most of the cooking, cleaning and watching kiddos... but it was still really fun! We brought the horse trailer and the horses and Brad & Reba brought the four wheelers. It was Zanna's first camp out and she LOVED it!! She almost gave Jathan and I a heart attack however. She is FEARLESS. We had the horses tied up outside of camp and she made her way to them at least ten times a day. We had to watch her like a hawk. Jathan looked up at her right as she was getting to the horses and she walked right under Ruby's belly!!!! AHHHH!!! That child, that child!

Jathan and Brad went on daily rides to try to scout out buffalo and find sheds... sadly they never came home with storries of buffalo and they did not find any sheds either... sorry guys!! Next time!!

Brad and Rebeccas camper trailer. This is where we cooked all of our meals and fed the chillins.

Zanna loving the dirt and her bottle.

Andelyn loving the dirt even more!! She is the funniest little girl! I am pretty sure she went through half of her clothing the very first day we were there. I love how it looks like she is wearing lipstick. SO funny!!

Riding the fourwheelers to the caves. My legs are whitesome and delightsome! Can't wait for the sun to come out again and sun bathe my body!

These two little girls were so funny together. They were constantly playing and roaming around together. They are the best of friends. Poor little Ella needed a playmate. Jathan and I are thinking of adopting a four year old so Ella will have someone to play with on future outings ;)

The Roberts.

Dirty little honey! And the poor thing fell off of a four foot ledge and scratched her face all up :(

Chilling with daddy.

Cute little Ella.

Jathan's dads horse trailor has a little live in quarters. This is where we slept everynight. It was surprisingly very comfy! Except for Zanna squirming all over the place.

The little ones loved crawling all over the four wheelers.

Excuse me??

So last night Jathan and I are sitting on the couch conversing while watching one of our favorite shows when Jathan tells me "You are the weirdest person I have ever met".... What?? Is this some soft of a compliment... I sure hope so! Only somehow I just don't think it was. Ha ha!! I just have to say one thing. It is so much better to be weird than normal. Right?!? (wink)

Okay so it really wasn't that rude. I was giving him some funny hints I wanted to eat the rest of his apple sauce. I still thought it was a funny comment.

"Fold your arms"

My sweet little Zanna has learned to fold her arms during prayers. The other night I was putting her to bed and she was bawling.... she just did not want to go to her bedroom because she knew it was time for bed (usually she is really good about going down but she is teething... need I say more). Before I put her down I said fold your arms. She folded her arms and stopped crying while we said prayers. The second we said amen she started bawling again. It was so cute she knew to be quiet during prayers.

Today we were eating dinner and out of the blue she would fold her arms, bow her head and mumble a little something. It was so cute. I couldn't help but just giggle at her.

This little girl is changing, learning and growing so much. She is so fun! She can be a little pill sometimes, but wow is she fun! There are so many fun things that come with being a mother I never could have imagined before I became one.

CATCH UP!!

Well as you can clearly see it has been a very long time since I have done anything with my blog. I am sooooo bad. Ever since I have been prego I have a SERIOUS lack of motivation. I am lucky if I get my house clean.... let alone blog!!!! Can't wait until I hit twenty weeks. With my last pregnancy I had a ton of energy after that twenty week mark... what I wouldn't give for that energy now!!! Ha ha ha! Anyhow I am going to be updating things from months ago... I am planning on doing a blog book, so don't think I am crazy when you see Halloween pics in February!

Halloween

Halloween was so fun this year with my little witch!! Zanna and I were twinner witches. I made our little witch tutu's and put feather boas around our little witch hat's. She was such a cute little witch!

Jathan and his good little witch.

Rebecca and Andelyn were little witches too. Look at Rebecca's hat. It is soo cute! I secretly wanted to steel it off of her head and wear it for myself!! Ha ha!

Zanna and Andelyn were so cute running around trick or treating together. Well not exactly trick or treating. Mostly just running around. Check out Andelyn's broom. Brad made it at his shop. So talented!
We went to the trunk or treat in my parent's neighborhood. It was perfect!

Jathan and Zanna playing in the leaves after trick or treating. Zanna thought it was pretty fun!

Funny story: After we were done trick or treating I took Zanna's candy bag to see what candy I wanted to eat. Jathan looked at me and said... Merm, you can't eat all Zanna's candy. He was dead serious too!! I was like... Jathan I did not take Zanna trick or treating so she could have a whole bag of candy. I took her so I could get Halloween candy! Pretty sure my one year old does not need that much sugar!! I think she ended up getting left with a little packet of smarties. I finished off all the rest! Ha ha!

Big Sis...

Yes... you read it right. Zanna is going to be a big sister! CRAZY eh! We broke the news to her today and this is how she reacted... tears streaming down the face. We think she is super excited about it! Ha ha ha... no but really I hope this is not how she will really feel about sharing time with another little one.
We are really excited about welcoming another baby into the world. I am just not totally stoked on the idea of morning sickness and what not... But hey, hopefully it will not last too long. I am 7 and a half weeks along and so far I just want to eat like mad and I am pretty tired. I am starting to feel a little nauseous but nothing too bad. Please bless I don't throw up all of the time like with little Zanna. That hit at 10 weeks with her... so time will tell. My due date is July 31.... heavens I am going to be waddling around full bloom in the heat of the summer once again! Oh and according to the online Chinese Calendar we are having a boy... I hear they are pretty accurate, 50/50 really... ha ha! Once again time will tell.

Family Pictures

Lindsey Saun took our family pictures a few months ago and she did an awesome job! I just luff her! So I am posting like 20 pictures. I know that is embarrassing for me! But she took like 300 pictures and these were some of my faves! Check out her website and book your own family pictures! This picture makes me giggle. Zanna needed a quick snack so Lindsey shot away! Ha ha!!

ooo-da-lali! What a handsome picture of my honey and his trusty dog! I am so glad she got a single picture of him. So HANDSOME!

Gypsy??

It was the death of us to get Zanna to look at the camera! As you can see in this picture she was not exactly thrilled

Once again not too happy. Ha ha ha! Her face just says it all!

I know I was not exaggerating. I posted many pictures. But oh well what do you do!

My New CHAPS!

Well maybe not so new.... Jathan had chaps made for me a few years ago but somehow they were like 10 sizes too big. We being the slackers that we are just barely got them fixed. Right after we got them fixed I was so excited to wear them. I made Jathan go to the barn and saddle up a horse so I could ride around in them... I know I am a little bit of a dork!

If you look close you can see all of the silver stud work down the sides of the chaps. Beautiful! I just love them!

And of course Zanna just looks so squeezable all bundled up!

And later on that night. Daddy snuggling up with his little girl in the chili night air! I can't get enough of these two!

Helping daddy... or should I say Hindering?

The month of October brought us many car problems. Thankfully Jathan has a new found knack for fixing cars. I believe he saved us over $1,500 by fixing our 4Runner and Truck himself!! Oh it feels good to save money!

So here is Jathan out fixing the 4Runner with all of his tools laid out. Zanna of course thought these were toys specifically out on display for her.

I am pretty sure her hair looked cute at some point during this day. She looks like a little rag-a-muffin in these pictures!

She was trying to make a run for it with the tools. She did not get too far!

It was so funny. When Jathan cleaned up all of his tools and realized some were missing, we found some in the flower beds, on the lawn, at the bottom of the stairs to the basement... she is a busy little bee!

New Elephant Slippers

I found these super cute Elephant slippers for Zanna and surprisingly she keeps them on. They are so cute and cuddly and keep her feet so cozy warm.

Here she is with her famous walking stance. She always walks with her little hands up by her face. SO CUTE.

And now we are dressed for the day!

Gardner Village... and my lack of pictures!

Carolynn, Katie, Rebecca and I all went to Gardner village to check out some fabric and see all of the cute Halloween things they had going on. This is the only picture I got. The little ones passed out in the back seat!

Grace Helen Baldwin

Little baby Grace was born November 9 2008. She is 6lbs 6oz and 17 inches long. She is the tiniest, darlingest little thing. I am so proud of Carolynn and her amazing births! She went into the hospital around 4:30 and had the baby at 6:50!!! WOW! She did a natural delivery and everything went wonderfully! CONGRATS on the new addition!
Doesn't she look stunning!? And just minutes after having a baby!

Cute little Baldwin kiddos!

Carolynn made each of her children stuffed animals and gave them to them at the hospital when they first saw their baby sister.

Super sweet sleeping baby picture. Oh and don't worry Carolynn also made the bedding to this moses basket! She kills me!
