Pool Party!!!

Well... not exactly a party... but it was still fun. Except that this pool is FREEZING cold. But the kids sure loved it. Troop LOVES the water. He splashes and plays the whole time. Zanna loves the water as well and asks on a daily basis to go swimming.

Our First Month in Alaska!!

WE MADE IT!!!

We finally made it to Alaska (about a month ago). So far so good... We are super excited for this new adventure. I will be even more excited when it warms up a little and the snow melts!

Well I posted like a hundered pictures for our families of our first month here!

Zanna was so excited to see her daddy. She missed him so much while he was gone. She would always say to me "Daddy go to work?" It broke my heart. I knew she was wondering when on earth he was coming home.

So since being in Alaska Zanna has gotten in lot's of snuggle time with her daddy!

Playing in all the packing paper. We had a huge Mountain of it in the corner of the kitchen. I finally got rid of it all. YES!!!

Zanna likes to grab the sides of our faces like she is doing here to Troop. It reminds me of her Uncle Kotah. This was his signature moove.

Now if that smile doesn't melt your heart I don't know what will. Oh I could just eat him up! He is not crawling yet but he can rock on all fours. He is such a sweet happy little boy.

Jathan FINALLY busted out the LuvSac. He bought it about 6 years ago and just couldn't bring him self to opening it up. Mostly because it takes up lot's of space but it is a huge hit with the kids!

I was invited to a girls night out a few weeks ago and it was so fun. There was yummy food, great conversation, a hillarious game and a movie. There are quite a few members here and oddly enough I have met like 4 people from the American Fork area. Some people I even knew before I moved out here.

I came into the livingroom to this sight the other day. Zanna hanging out on the couch with her umbrella. It made me giggle!

POTTY TRAINING:

Now that we have moved and are settled I finally Potty Trained Zanna. She has done SO good! She had a little bit of a rough go at number 2 but I think she has got it down now. She takes naps and goes to bed with out a diaper on. Ever since she started wearing panties we have not put another diaper on her and she has only had one accident in the night! YAY!

She put her panties on all by herself and they are backwards... there is not enough panty to cover both cheeks... pretty cute bum!!

I got this bookcase from Ikea right before we moved (there is no Ikea here... SO SAD). Zanna is helping me set it up... she climbed all over that thing while I slaved away :)

EASTER

It was so fun to have Easter on Conference Sunday. I just loved this conference, especially the saturday session. I felt like there were so many amazing talks on family. It is always so inspiring to listen to the Prophet and Apostals.

After conference we colored eggs (Iknow, the day of). Zanna LOVED it. I guess I should have boiled more eggs because once we were done she grabbed she freshley dyed eggs and put them back in the dye... she was not ready to be done.

We had our brother in law Ty and his army buddy Brady over for dinner. It was kinda crazy, Ty had an unexpected week long layover in Anchorage on his way to the phillipines... WE MISS YOU TY COME BACK. We also went to how to train your dragon with them... that in an excellent movie!!!

The goodies: She got Princess and the Frog, a really cute Max and Ruby book, a chicken that laid gum drop eggs and a little candy.

We went to the Newells house that evening so I decided it was time to do her hair...

After chit chatting and playing at the Newells we came home and had some Strawberry Shortcake.

Zannas favorite part was the whipped cream.

THE BOXES

All our moving boxes kept Zanna entertained for hours. She coverd Troop and herself in all the packing paper and then she would have Jathan shut them up in thebox.

It was like Where is Waldo... but instead it was Where are my Children??

G'day maam!!

I just love this hat on Troop. We bought it around Christmas and he finally fits into it. Luckilly it is still FREEZING cold and he can wear it!

FEEDING THE DUCKS & MCDONALDS

We took the kids to go feed the ducks at the frozen over duck pond.

I feel bad for these duckies... Don't they know they migrated before the pond had thawed? Poor things were so cold. They sat in one spot and only moved if we threw food by them.

But Zanna loved it. It will be fun to go back when it is a little warmer and the duckies are swimming.

We finished the day with an outing to McDonalds. They had "How to train a Dragon" toys. Zanna was so excited about these toys.

and the box turns into a "Breast helmet" I must say Troop looks like a stud in his breast helmet :)

Later that day we went to Jimbo's house (jathan works with him). We ate some yummy food and watched the UFC fights while the kids ran a muck!!
