Big Sis...

Yes... you read it right. Zanna is going to be a big sister! CRAZY eh! We broke the news to her today and this is how she reacted... tears streaming down the face. We think she is super excited about it! Ha ha ha... no but really I hope this is not how she will really feel about sharing time with another little one.
We are really excited about welcoming another baby into the world. I am just not totally stoked on the idea of morning sickness and what not... But hey, hopefully it will not last too long. I am 7 and a half weeks along and so far I just want to eat like mad and I am pretty tired. I am starting to feel a little nauseous but nothing too bad. Please bless I don't throw up all of the time like with little Zanna. That hit at 10 weeks with her... so time will tell. My due date is July 31.... heavens I am going to be waddling around full bloom in the heat of the summer once again! Oh and according to the online Chinese Calendar we are having a boy... I hear they are pretty accurate, 50/50 really... ha ha! Once again time will tell.

Family Pictures

Lindsey Saun took our family pictures a few months ago and she did an awesome job! I just luff her! So I am posting like 20 pictures. I know that is embarrassing for me! But she took like 300 pictures and these were some of my faves! Check out her website and book your own family pictures! This picture makes me giggle. Zanna needed a quick snack so Lindsey shot away! Ha ha!!

ooo-da-lali! What a handsome picture of my honey and his trusty dog! I am so glad she got a single picture of him. So HANDSOME!

Gypsy??

It was the death of us to get Zanna to look at the camera! As you can see in this picture she was not exactly thrilled

Once again not too happy. Ha ha ha! Her face just says it all!

I know I was not exaggerating. I posted many pictures. But oh well what do you do!

My New CHAPS!

Well maybe not so new.... Jathan had chaps made for me a few years ago but somehow they were like 10 sizes too big. We being the slackers that we are just barely got them fixed. Right after we got them fixed I was so excited to wear them. I made Jathan go to the barn and saddle up a horse so I could ride around in them... I know I am a little bit of a dork!

If you look close you can see all of the silver stud work down the sides of the chaps. Beautiful! I just love them!

And of course Zanna just looks so squeezable all bundled up!

And later on that night. Daddy snuggling up with his little girl in the chili night air! I can't get enough of these two!

Helping daddy... or should I say Hindering?

The month of October brought us many car problems. Thankfully Jathan has a new found knack for fixing cars. I believe he saved us over $1,500 by fixing our 4Runner and Truck himself!! Oh it feels good to save money!

So here is Jathan out fixing the 4Runner with all of his tools laid out. Zanna of course thought these were toys specifically out on display for her.

I am pretty sure her hair looked cute at some point during this day. She looks like a little rag-a-muffin in these pictures!

She was trying to make a run for it with the tools. She did not get too far!

It was so funny. When Jathan cleaned up all of his tools and realized some were missing, we found some in the flower beds, on the lawn, at the bottom of the stairs to the basement... she is a busy little bee!

New Elephant Slippers

I found these super cute Elephant slippers for Zanna and surprisingly she keeps them on. They are so cute and cuddly and keep her feet so cozy warm.

Here she is with her famous walking stance. She always walks with her little hands up by her face. SO CUTE.

And now we are dressed for the day!

Gardner Village... and my lack of pictures!

Carolynn, Katie, Rebecca and I all went to Gardner village to check out some fabric and see all of the cute Halloween things they had going on. This is the only picture I got. The little ones passed out in the back seat!

Grace Helen Baldwin

Little baby Grace was born November 9 2008. She is 6lbs 6oz and 17 inches long. She is the tiniest, darlingest little thing. I am so proud of Carolynn and her amazing births! She went into the hospital around 4:30 and had the baby at 6:50!!! WOW! She did a natural delivery and everything went wonderfully! CONGRATS on the new addition!
Doesn't she look stunning!? And just minutes after having a baby!

Cute little Baldwin kiddos!

Carolynn made each of her children stuffed animals and gave them to them at the hospital when they first saw their baby sister.

Super sweet sleeping baby picture. Oh and don't worry Carolynn also made the bedding to this moses basket! She kills me!

Wrestling With Daddy

Jathan loves to wrestle with his little girl. And as you will see she loves it too. She giggles and screams, then screams and giggles some more! One of her favorite things is when her daddy comes home. She hears the door open, runs to the hallway as quick as she can and runs down the hallway into the arms of her daddy. It is so cute! I have a video of him coming home from school and she is on the couch. She starts freaking out and throwing herself all over the couch, giggling and screaming! I will have to post that another time!

Look Mom... no hands!

Zanna is a little climber. She loves to climb everything and get into everything! She is a busy busy little girl!

Rub-A-Dub-Dub

Zanna went through a phase of not liking the tub too much. But ever since she got her new tub toys for her birthday form Grandma and Grandpa Garrett, she enjoys tub time much more. She still doesn't love to lay down to have her hair rinsed out. Nor does she like it when I pour water over her head to rinse her hair. Infact she kind of freaks out. But she will just sit and play with her toys for about 20 minutes. I love it! She looks so dang cute when she is all soaking wet!

Check out this little girls hair. It almost goes down to the middle of her back. It cracks me up! I never realize how long it is until she gets in the tub. It's got a little curl to it so it only goes down to her shoulders when it's dry.

Lady Bug Birthday

It was so fun to throw our Little Zanna her first birthday party. We had a lady bug theme. Really the only lady bug items we had were a lady bug cake and cupcakes. It was alot of fun coming up with ideas for the lady bugs. I did not realize how long 50 cup cakes and a cake would take me to decorate. Luckily Jathan was home for the day so he helped with the eyeballs and also took Zanna to run some errands so I could get them all done!
We had her party at Jathan's grandparents property. Thanks to Uncle Jules we had some scrumptious Navajo taco's. That man makes some awesome fry bread. THANKS JULES!

The Yummy Lady Bugs!

This is Jathan's face he pulls when he does not want to take a picture. He is such a little punk.

Singing Happy Birthday
It took her a minute to dig into the cake. She kept picking all the dot's off the lady bugs back. So I took her hand and smashed it into the cake so she could get the hang of it. Once she knew what she was doing she was all over that cake. It was SO CUTE and SO FUN to watch her.
It gets pretty chilly at night these days so Thankfully we had a fire going. Zanna ate her cake in front of the fire and was nice and toasty!

Zanna had such a fun time opening her presents. Jathan would pull a piece of the wrapping paper and then hand it to her, then she helped unwrap it the rest of the way. She would look at her new toys and say OOOO. This was a new thing and it was so dang cute. Side note: I forgot the video camera and I am pretty upset about it.

Thank you everyone for coming and having fun with us. Also thank you for Zannas fun new presents. She had a ton of fun playing with her new toys when we got home. She even stayed up two hours after bed time!
