18 Months

Oh BOY! My baby is 18 months old. WOW!
I love this little man so much. He is so stinking cute. He gets cuter and more fun every day.
And yes, he still has the most incredible uni-brow!

He is getting to be quite the tease. He is always trying to wrestle my leg, his daddy and his sister... especially his sister.

He LOVES books. He brings me at least 5 books on a daily basis. He just adores being read to.

He hasn't got the biggest vocabulary yet, but some of his favorite things to say are... catch, one two three, mommy, uh oh, ouch, thank you, touch and nose.

He is starting to love snuggling in his blankie which Jathan and I both love. It is just so darling to watch him snuggle up and get comfy!

He is FINALLY WEENED! Praise the heavens above. Finally, at eighteen... almost nineteen months! This kid was not giving in. I mean my children really have the hardest time with the weening process.

He is still a light-weight, but he is starting to be a better eater! Praise the heavens one more time!!

He is a total CHEESER! I wish I had a photo of his cheese face. It is so funny. He will come up to me and just smile as big as he can. Then he giggles and smiles huge again.
This is one of his favorite places. If you leave a chair un-tucked even for one second, this kid climbs up and starts making trouble!

He loves it when daddy comes home. He runs to the door the second he hears Jathan unlocking the lock. Both he and Zanna just stand there in excitement and jump into his arms the second he walks in!

Hmmm, maybe we should get him a pair of more masculine sun glasses!

He still is not the world's best sleeper... but we are getting there. I think now that he is eating more hopefully his tummy will last all night long!

One of the BEST parts of Troop being 18 months is that he gets to go to NURSERY! No more wondering the halls in church! YAY!

And last but not least... he is into everything! In these photos it is Corn Starch... where did he get Corn Starch? Zanna must have helped him with this one! He also loves getting into my make up, the wipees, anything with buttons.... the list goes on.
Troop we love you so much! You are a ball full of fun {and trouble}! Thank you for making our lives that much more enjoyable {and crazy}!

Girls will be girls!

The other day I had Kalea, one of Zanna's cute little friends come over to take some pictures of some new Hush Blush items.

After our little photo shoot they headed to Zanna and Troops room to play. After a while I went in to check on them and this is what I found...

Some cute little girls, just being girls. The funny thing about the hat Zanna is wearing is that it is Troops. It barely covered the top of her head. And don't they look so styling in their shades?

OH yes they had gloves on too!

So funny! I just loved watching them play, and listening to their cute little conversations. What fun it is to be a girl ;)

Meet Toothless...

Our new Leopard Gecko & Zanna's new best friend.
Let me just tell you, this child dies over this lizard. It is pretty funny. She has always had a love for animals... but reptiles seem to be her favorite.
Ever since her friend got some for Christmas it is pretty much all she talked about.
My brother Christian had a leopard gecko, "Miguel" when we were young and he was the cutest little pet. He was so nice and calm and just chilled. So since I knew he would be a good little pet we caved and got one.
Her favorite toy is her dragon "Toothless" from how to train a dragon so we named him after her beloved dragon.

He is a little close to her mouth in this photo... yuck... but such a cute photo. It totally captures how she feels towards her new best friend.

I grabbed my camera to get some photos of Zanna playing with Toothless and when I walked into her room this is what I found. I about died laughing!!! What a lucky little lizard, he is riding in style! (and trying to make a getaway out the passenger window;)

She likes to put him in her baby stroller and has also put him on a vertical surfaces and says "look mom, his toes are sticky like a frog"

He is really such a sweet little lizard and a good starter pet! He doesn't stink, doesn't bite and is really low maintenance. My kind of animal! I just pray he can live a long life. I get a little nervous with this child's creativity. But she actually does really well with him. She is very gentle and careful.
So there you have it! Our newest addition!

New Years Eve

New Years Eve was a lovely day... Well it started out a bit frustrating but turned out lovely. We initially had planned to go snow machining with some friends, the Davis' but the weather suddenly got really warm- in the thirties- and we were getting rain, kinda weird. So we decided to take a drive to Hatchers Pass (about an hour away) and go sledding. It was great and it was snowing there instead of raining!
There are a ton of photos... sorry!

Jathan and the babes. Zanna and Troop looked so cute in their goggles.

Zanna cruzing down the hill.

My handsome snow bunnies!

Zanna and Kalea making snow angels!

The Davis's (minus their little baby boy sleeping in the car)

The Garrett's. I know I look a little ticked off... but I'm not. I just can't smile in those goggles. They push my cheeks down and I look like a LOSER face!

Troop spent the majority of his time in the vehicle. Oh doesn't that smile just melt you? It does me!

Heading back up the hill.

I love the snow in the beard. It reminds me of my dad. Now we just nee to get some full blown icicles.

After sledding we headed to this cozy lodge for some grub.

We ordered the MOST DELICIOUS HOT CHOCOLATE I HAVE EVER HAD! It was to die for. I only got about two swigs of it because Zanna took it over. I guess that is what I get for thinking I could share hot chocolate. We also got sea food chowder that was phenomenal as well!!

Watching the fireworks being lit.

This is the first year in 10 years Alaska has allowed fireworks. Yay for us!! Yay for new years!

Troop giving his daddy some new years kisses.

Zanna and Kalea giving New Years hugs.

Goodbye to 2010... And hello to 2011. I hope it is a good one!!
